Requirements:1. Participant can only miss 12 weigh-ins to receive any monetary prize amount, either from their Personal Prize Fund or the Super Prize Fund. 2. Participants must lose a minimum of 50% of their official Personal Goal that was determined at the initial weigh in to receive any monetary prizes. A Personal Goal for each individual participant will be determined as the greater of either: a) one half the difference between their current BMI and 24% BMI (half way from where you are now to the top end of healthy BMI) or b) 20% of their current weight if over 39% BMI, 15% of their current weight if between 33 - 39% BMI, 10% of their current weight if under 33% BMI. 3. Fitness Group participation is required during Season 4 to provide structured fitness activities in a community environment which promotes involvement and accountability. Participants must participate on at least 1 group fitness league/team/club AND attend at least 50% of those events. Group fitness leagues/teams/clubs will be organized or approved by The Biggest Loser of Madison County Officials or other volunteers. All groups are open to the public to join. Some groups may require registration fees to cover space rental, registration, or equipment costs. Some groups may be entirely cost free. Groups will use the specified meetup.com site to schedule weekly events, track attendance and post photos. The meetup.com membership is free to all participants in Season 4. 4. Same gender teams of 2 participants are required for both of the adult divisions of Season 4. The TAP Division (Teen and Parent) requires 1 parent and their teen, regardless of gender. Teens must currently be enrolled in the sixth grade or higher. Parents assume all responsibility of both their individual and their teen's health and participation in fitness group(s). TAP Division participants compete for separate Super Prize Fund consisting of cash for parents and prizes for teens. 5. Participants are responsible for contributing to their individual prize fund monthly by submitting cash in the provided envelope at the first weigh in of each month. The minimum monthly contribution is $5. There is no maximum. Consider this - you are paying yourself to lose weight so work hard and pay yourself well! All contributed monies will be distributed to each participant as their individual prize fund as an earned achievement of their personal goal, or if any individual prize fund is forfeited, it will be combined and added to the Super Prize Fund for disbursement between the Top Male and Top Female teams.
